CATHEX
‘Cathex’ is an artistic interactive VR experience that takes the audience through a journey of catharsis based on Mary Whiton Calkins’ philosophies, the Universe as the Absolute Self, and Panpsychism through a Cyberfeminist lens. Players are immersed into a womb-like subconscious, where they must seek a long forgotten memory of origin. Through emotion regulatory movements in VR, they become a catalyst of the unfolding storyline. ‘Cathex’ is made by an all womxn and non-binary team of creatives.
